We believe in democracy, and the Tunisian People have clearly made their feelings felt on the administration of Ben Ali. However we deplore the violence currently engulfing the nation. We hope that political leaders can solve the situation and pave the way for free and fair elections.

14/06/2010 Proposed Muslims Against Crusades Protest in Barking

We at United Shades of Britain are concerned regarding a proposed protest by Muslims Against Crusades against the homecoming parade in Barking. Whilst people understandably have concerns and strong opinions about the war in Afghanistan, we feel that it is wrong to deliberately attempt to disrupt what will be an emotional day for the families of returning soldiers.
